Allows for easy adoption of the New Pentagon (Bipolar) motor advantage for applications that are struggling to meet the desired results or those desiring to improve their current machine by offering:
Board mountable driver and capacitor are the only requirement. The DS Series is designed for applications where the driver must be on the printed circuit board or applications where space saving is critical. The DS series also finds its advantage with portable solutions where applied voltage is in the range of 12~24VDC (5 VDC needed for logic).
The ECO function on the driver setting allows for the motor’s operating current in addition to the settings of RUN current to be controlled. Use in the off position when maximum current is needed. Turn input on when a reduced (different) driver run / stop current is required. The ECO function allows for lowering the operating current and also reduces the rise of motor/driver temperature, noise and vibration level.


DMS01 - Socket (10 pcs.)
The socket makes it easy for replacing drivers on the circuit board, interchanging drivers based on motor current requirements or general maintenance purposes.
DMB01S - Test Board
Test board makes it easy to conduct the operational testing. The motor can be used by attaching the driver (sold separately) and wiring the cable (included). For microstep testing, the addition of a rotary switch or I/O input connector is also required (customer supplied).

The DS Series full / half step versions are available in one or two pulse input types designed for our smallest 5 phase motor, 20 mm up to the larger frame size 60 mm motor, including all gear heads.
The DS series microstepping version is currently available in two pulse input type only, designed also for our 20mm 5-phase motor up to our 42 mm motors.
