In the Brushless DC Speed Control seminar you will SEE and LEARN about:
Closed-loop Stepping Motor System
The AlphaStep is a revolutionary hybrid stepping motor and driver package which eliminates missed steps. The AlphaStep uses a built-in feedback device that constantly monitors the motor shaft position to detect and correct for loss of synchronism. In this course you will learn the theory of Closed Loop systems, characteristics and applications.
Linear Actuators (Part 1)
The EZ Limo EZS II Series motorized linear slides incorporate an AlphaStep stepping motor, feedback system, ball screw and table in an all-in-one compact body. The EZS Series of motorized sliders provide positioning through the use of a table and slider driven by the ball screw. In this course you will learn the Theory of the Limo series, Sliders vs. Cylinders, System Characteristics, and see typical applications.
Dual and Single Axis Robot (Part 2)
Learn about coupling linear and rotary actuators together to function as single and dual axis robots. This is a more advanced course that will build on information from the previous week. Multiple control options will be discussed. Single and dual axis demonstration units will be explained and showcased.
