Oriental Motor is pleased to announce the expansion of our Rotary Encoder lineup with the addition of the new 40 mm size. Now available in both 30 mm and 40 mm diameters, our rotary encoders offer a wide resolution range from 100 to 4000 P/R and multiple output options, including voltage output, open collector, and line driver.

Application Example – Enhancing Preventative Maintenance
Rotary Encoders play a crucial role in industrial automation and equipment monitoring. In a belt-and-pulley mechanism, they help detect rotation discrepancies between the motor and the driven mechanism caused by belt deflection or breakage.
