Oriental Motor is pleased to announce the introduction of our new AZ Series Compact DC Input Driver and two new AZ Series motor with Harmonic Gears.
This new AZ Series Compact Driver is designed to be mounted close to the motor, making it ideal for robotic applications. To support robotics applications, two new AZ Series DC Input motors have been released, both with Harmonic gears and in 30 mm (1.18 in.) and 42 mm (1.65in.) frame sizes. The 42 mm (1.65 in.) motor is available with an optional electromagnetic brake. Both motors connect directly to the driver. All other AZ Series DC input motors will require an adaptor cable (sold separately) for connection.
The AZ Series Compact Driver has a built-in controller and is controlled via RS-485 communication. It has an on-board USB connector for use with the MEXE02 software along with inputs to control the motor, AZ Series absolute encoder and also the electromagnetic brake. The driver can be controlled via a PLC, touch screens (HMI) or a computer and works with all AZ Series DC-input family of motion control products.
